This Payment Policy (hereinafter — “Policy”) is a legally binding document and a part of Terms of the Website Use.
This Policy is presented and operates on behalf of the legal entity EnglishMaja OÜ, a company registered under the legislation of the Republic of Estonia, address: Tuukri tn 19-315 Tallinn Harjumaa 10152, company registration number: 14662785 (hereinafter – “We”, “Englishdom”, “Company”, “by us”, “us”, “our”), which provides Users with the opportunity to work with the englishdom.com platform.
GENERAL PROVISIONS OF THE COST OF SERVICES
The Company provides a set of functionalities for learning English in the form of services, the list of which is presented on the website englishdom.com.
METHODS AND CURRENCY OF PAYMENTS
The payments are made in any convenient for the User way as indicated on the website, including by credit card, through payment systems or by bank transfer.
At the same time, the User acknowledges that we can change our partners-providers of payment services and require them to transfer his/her information to other service providers.
Payment for the Services is carried out in the User's Personal Account. The moment of payment is the receipt of funds to our account. EnglishDom may not provide paid Services until payment has been made.
The User is solely responsible for the correctness of the payments made by him/her.
After confirming the selected service, a secure window will open with the payment page of the processing center, where the User should enter the details of his/her bank card. For additional authentication of the cardholder, the 3D Secure protocol is used. If the User's bank supports this technology, it will be redirected to its server for additional identification. The User must check the information on the rules and methods of additional identification with the Bank that issued his bank card.
The processing center protects and processes the User's bank card data in accordance with the PSI DSS 3.0 standard. Information is transferred to the payment gateway using SSL encryption technology. Further transmission of information occurs through secured banking networks with the highest level of reliability. The payment provider does not transfer the User's card data to EnglishDom and other third parties. For additional authentication of the cardholder, the 3D Secure protocol is used.
The personal data provided by the User (name, address, phone, e-mail, credit card number) are confidential and not subject to disclosure. The User's credit card data are transmitted only in encrypted form and are not stored on the company's WEB-server.
All transactions with payment cards are carried out in accordance with the requirements of Visa International, MasterCard and other payment systems. When transferring information, special security technologies for online card payments are applied; data processing is carried out on a secure high-tech server of the processing company.
All commissions and fees are paid by the User independently. EnglishDom has the right to change the cost of the Services at any time by updating the information on the Website or notifying the User through the communication means indicated on the Platform.
In case of an insufficient cash balance to access any functionality of the Platform Services, the funds after 18 months from the date of termination of training are considered the good of the company and are not refundable. At the same time, the company gives the right to individually apply through a personal curator on the issue of invoicing for an additional payment up to the full cost of services.
In some cases, at the request of the User, a refund for the Services can be made.
The refundable funds are recalculated without taking into account special conditions at the maximum rate for the actually rendered Services. The rights to receive free Services are canceled.
If we have suspicions regarding the abuse of this opportunity, we have the right to refuse a refund.
All commissions and fees are paid by the User independently.
The User can request a refund and get help with other related issues by email: email@example.com.
Refunds on a gift certificate are carried out as follows:
- within 14 days after payment of the Certificate, only the User who purchased it can contact EnglishDom with a request for a refund, after this period the User is not entitled to a refund;
- the activated Certificate is considered as used and cannot be exchanged or returned in any way;
- The Certificate can be presented only once and only to one User or other person (entity). At the same time, under no circumstances the funds can be reimbursed and / or sent to this entity in case of the return of such a Certificate. Such entity cannot claim a refund for the Certificate in any way.
RECALCULATION OF THE LESSON COST
If the User decides to resume studying after a long period of non-use of classes (120 calendar days from the date of termination of use), Englishdom has the right to recalculate the price of classes in accordance with the cost effective at the time of such renewal or recalculate after 540 calendar days have passed from the date of purchase of such classes.
The company provides educational services and access to digital products built on the Englishdom platform.
The provision of the Services is carried out via the Internet, including using software that provides voice and video communication through the Internet between the User and the consultant (Skype and other similar programs).
In this regard, the delivery in the form of access to digital content and educational services is carried out depending on the selected service / product immediately after registration in the personal account and / or payment.
SECURITY CONTROL OF PAYMENT DATA TRANSFER
To ensure the reliability of payments, the Secure Sockets Layer cryptographic protocol (SSL certificate) is used. This technology uses asymmetric cryptography to authenticate exchange keys, symmetric encryption to maintain confidentiality, message authentication codes for their integrity, which allows you to process your payments more securely.
When making payments through payment services, our platform adheres to the rules of the international payment systems VISA and MasterCard, the logos of which are posted on our website.
DISPLAYING THE PURCHASE CONDITIONS FOR THE CARD HOLDER DURING THE ORDER PROCESS
When choosing a payment method by a plastic card, the payment for the order is carried out immediately after its registration. After completing the order on the Englishdom platform, the User must click on the button with the VISA and MasterCard image, and the system will switch it to the authorization server page, where the User will be asked to enter the plastic card data, initiate its authorization, and then return to the Englishdom website platform.
On the payment page itself, the User will see a message about the prepayment of educational services as the number of classes purchased by him/her. After the User returns to the website, the system will send notification of the authorization results. If authorization is confirmed, his/her order will be automatically executed in accordance with the conditions specified. In case of refusal to authorize the card, the User will be able to repeat the payment procedure.
Englishdom is not a bank or any financial institution, we do not provide any financial services. Any payments processed through our platform are made solely for consumption and educational purposes. Such payments cannot be made and are used for any fraudulent, criminal or illegal activity.
